Our
organizations have a long history of helping persons with brain
injury and other neurological disorders as well as their families
and caregivers. To share the knowledge we've gained from years
of experience, we offer a variety of practical training and
education opportunities. On this web site, you will find the
latest news on conferences we sponsor including schedules, faculty
and registration. You will also find information about past

On November 2nd and 3rd, 2010 you are cordially invited to a series
of in-depth training sessions at The College of William & Mary for
clinicians serving families of persons with traumatic brain injury
and other neurological disorders. On the first day of
training, participants will be provided with a solid foundation of
knowledge about how families are affected by injury and illness.
Participants will also learn how to screen clients and integrate
customized treatment strategies to work with brain injury survivors
and their families. On the second day, participants will learn
how to apply the Brain Injury Family
Intervention (BIFI), an evidence based, manualized
approach to families recovering from acquired brain injury.
We are also pleased to announce that the 2011 conference
"Rehabilitation of the Adult and Child with Brain Injury:
Practical Solutions to Real World Problems will be held on May 5-6
in Williamsburg, VA. The 2011 conference, our 35th Annual, will
feature two pre-conference, day long workshops (May 4, 2011) for
participants desiring an in-depth, hands-on training experience.
